CONCEPT and PURPOSE

PREP ALL-STARS Basketball Camps were created to give players a chance to learn the game from top coaches, compete against top players, and gain valuable exposure to college coaches.

CJ Donnelly comes to Prep All-Stars from Chowan University, where he spent six years as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director/ Business Manager. CJ worked for Bob Burke (now with the Portland Trailblazers) his first year and then the last five for current head coach Jim Tribbett.

Prior to coaching at Chowan, CJ coached one year at the Oure Sports Academy in Denmark. Oure was one of the top sports schools in Europe and competed in Sweden, Germany, and France.

Before Denmark, CJ received his master’s degree from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania where he served as a Graduate Assistant for 2 years.

CJ has also taken travel teams throughout Europe and Barbados, as well as coached high school basketball at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, NJ and AAU basketball for the Jersey Jayhawks.

CJ and his wife Georgina and have a 2 year old daughter named Emma. They live in Charlotte.
